March 2000 During the Discover Phase the University's culture, perceptions of the current plan and expectations (in terms of compensation) were assessed. This phase included project planning and definition, strategy clarification and cultural assessment, and a market assessment. The new compensation plan designs will be a result of research and data collection based on 1)interviews, 2)focus groups, 3)opinion surveys, and 4) compilation of job information and 5)labor market data. Competitive Pay Assessment
The result of the Discover Phase will be to develop a compensation and reward program and then gain leadership approval for that strategy before moving to Phase II. |
