Graduation Fair 2009: Countdown to Commencement The second annual Graduation Fair: Countdown to Commencement will take place February 24th and 25th in the Baker University Center Grand Ballroom. This event serves as a one-stop shop for all things graduation.

Graduation Receptions Receptions are held by each college for those students participating in the annual June Commencement. Please see details below or contact the Dean's Office of your college for additional information. College of Arts & Sciences: Graduate reception held on June 12th immediately following the ceremony in the Clippinger Hall first-floor lobby; Undergraduate reception held on June 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Charles J. Ping Recreation Center.
College of Business: Reception held on June 13th in the first floor lobby of Copeland Hall immediately following the conclusion of the morning Commencement ceremony

Commencement Photographs Photographs will be taken by a professional photographer. A picture will be taken of each individual being greeted by his/her academic dean on stage. Within ten days following Commencement, candidates should receive a photographic proof. There is no obligation to purchase these pictures, however, for every "package" purchased, the Senior Class will receive a contribution to its treasury. The University receives no financial benefit from the studio.
The transaction, however, is an agreement between the student and Chappell Photography. Ohio University serves only in the capacity of providing the opportunity for the transaction. All questions regarding photographs should be directed to the studio's telephone number, 1.800.424.3686, as provided in the proof package.
Handicap Accessibility All physically challenged individuals should enter the Convocation Center through the ramped area of the Service Entrance on the south side overlooking the river. Staff attendants will be located at the Service Entrance for assistance and location of the seating area. No more than one member of the family will be permitted to remain as an attendant to the physically challenged individual. Hearing devices are available and a sign interpreter is present throughout the Ceremony.
Parking for physically challenged individuals will be in the area of the Service Entrance entrance on South Shafer Street. A state issued handicap tag is required for parking in this area.
