Land Surveying (LS) Program

This program, which has been approved by the Ohio State Board of Registration, constitutes the first step toward becoming a board-certified land surveyor.

For Students Who entered the CE Program Fall 2012

This program requires a minimum of 22 semester hours of civil engineering (18hrs.) and one outside course(4hrs.)as listed below.

CE 2100*-Elements of Land Surveying (3hrs.)[1]

CE 4000*-Societal Concerns in Civil Engineering(3hrs.)[1]

CE 4100-Applied Boundary Surveying(2hrs.)[2]

CE 4110-LegalPrinciplesinBoundaryLocation(2hrs.)[2] 

CE 4150-Geodetic Surveying(2hrs.)[2]

CE 4910*-Senior Capstone Design: Land Development(3hrs)[2]

Required Outside Course: (total 4hrs.)

GEOG 4730-Principles of Geographical Information Systems( 4 hrs.)[4]
