Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing
The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing is specifically designed for someone with an existing baccalaureate degree program in another field who has the desire to pursue a career in nursing. The program provides the classroom and clinical education in an accelerated format to prepare graduates for challenges of complex and changing health-care systems.
Completion of pre-nursing courses is required prior to being officially accepted into the Accelerated BSN. Academic advisors will help you tailor your individual study plan for course completion. After successfully completing the required OU and nursing courses, graduates are eligible to sit for the licensing exam to practice as a Registered Nursing (RN).
