ABOUT THE FACILITY
The Atrium Café, located on the first floor of Grover Center, is an independently-run public eatery that is part of College of Health Sciences and Professions and offers fresh, organic and local foods. All meals are produced daily by a variety of student team members, including Dietetics and Nutrition students under the direction of Chef Francis McFadden, Assistant Professor in the School of Applied Health Sciences and Wellness. Labs are also run out of the kitchen to provide students in related courses of study with hands-on lessons about contemporary food service management and related topics on food and wellness. The Atrium Café is committed to bringing delicious, healthy, homemade meals to the Ohio University community as well as offering quick and easy snacking options for those tide-me-over times between classes.
The Atrium Café offers a variety of freshly-made pastries, entrees and side dishes that change day to day. Also available are a selection of soups, premade wraps and sandwiches, pizza, and a salad bar. Breakfast is always available until at least 10 am, with options from bagels to eggs and bacon to breakfast sandwiches and healthier options like hot oatmeal. If you're looking for a quick snack, we have chips, candy bars, granola bars, and plenty of drinks available to grab and go.
