Prepharmacy Major Description Special curriculum; major code BS3313 Completion of the program below will result in a B.S. degree with a major in chemistry. The program is specifically designed to prepare the student for admission into a Doctor of Pharmacy program at an accredited pharmacy school. Graduates of a Doctor of Pharmacy program are eligible to take licensure examinations to become registered pharmacists. The program listed below is based upon the requirements of the four pharmacy schools in Ohio, but other schools may vary in their requirements. Again, it is your responsibility to ensure that you meet the admission standards for a particular school. Consult your advisor for assistance. Unless otherwise indicated, BIOS/MICR departmental courses may be retaken only once.
