Course Description Prereq: C- or better in 241; and 351 or 453, or concurrent. (spring) Modern electrochemical techniques and instrumentation with emphasis on their applications in analytical chemistry. Topics include potentiometry, specific ion electrodes, DC and AC polarography, pulse polarography, coulometry, chronocoulometry, cyclic voltammetry, and rapid scan voltammetry. Concurrent registration in 435 required for initial enrollment. 3 lec.
