To reserve the chapel for your wedding please fill out a reservation form two months before the ceremony. Reservation forms are available by contacting the Chapel Coordinator via email at galbreathchapel@ohio.edu
Your reservation assures you the use of all the Chapel facilities for a two hour rehearsal at a suitable time the day before the ceremony as well as a four hour period for the ceremony. This time should allow for decorating, dressing, and seating the guests as well as the duration of the ceremony and reception (if held at the chapel).
The standard fee charged for the use of the Chapel for a wedding is $350.00. A $175.00 non-refundable deposit is due at the time the reservation forms are returned to the Chapel Coordinator and the other $175 is due by the date of the rehearsal. In order for the Chapel to remain the attractive setting you have chosen for your wedding, additional donations are also accepted. All additional donations are considered a gift and are tax deductible.
Since Galbreath Chapel is non-denominational, it has no resident chaplain. Any member of the clergy or person licensed in the State of Ohio that you choose may perform your wedding. All are welcome.
The chapel has an organ as well as a piano, however there are no musicians on staff. If the couple would like musicians, they must hire them privately. The Chapel Coordinator can provide a list of references if needed.
