Sign Space for Events in Baker Center
|
Free with reservation
Sign space is available at several reserved venues in Baker University Center during the duration of your event.
Conference Rooms: wall-mounted sign holders (which accommodate signs printed/cut at 8-1/4" x 6-1/4") located outside each conference room can be used free of charge during your event when you have reserved the corresponding room.
Ballroom/s, Theater, Multi-Purpose Room (240/242) and 1804 Lounge: one free standing sign holder (which accommodates signs printed at 11" x 17" or less, portrait or landscape) or tripod easel placed outside the entrance of the corresponding space can be used free of charge during your event if it is requested at the time of reservation. Or, event organizer can provide their own single free-standing sign stand for placement outside the corresponding space.
Atrium Spaces/Billiards Lounge/Front Room: IF AVAILABLE, one free standing sign holder (which accommodates signs printed at 11" x 17" or less, portrait or landscape) or tripod easel placed near the corresponding space can be used free of charge during your event if it is requested at the time of your event. Or, event organizer can provide their own single free-standing sign stand for placement outside the corresponding space.
Signs for the sign space will be placed by Baker Center staff after they are provided to the Baker Center 4th Floor Guest Services Desk on the day of your event.

- Combination of 5 conference rooms for the same event
Sign space is available for reservation on the 1st Floor (2 spaces), Parking Garage Elevator (1 space), 2nd Floor (4 spaces), 4th Floor (2 spaces).
Each sign space can accommodate:
- One 11" x 17" sign stand provided by Baker Center
- One 30" x 70" vinyl banner x-stand provided by event organizer
- One easel provided by Baker Center which holds up to 36" max. width foam-core/cardboard-backed sign
Fees:
Registered Student Organizations or University Departments:
$10/per space for 1-hour prior + the duration of your event
Other Users:
$20/per space for 1-hour prior + the duration of your event
Please contact our Reservations staff at (740) 593-4021 to reserve sign space. Signs for the sign space will be placed by Baker Center staff after they are provided to the Baker Center 4th Floor Guest Services Desk on the day of your event.

Baker University Center does not provide graphic design services for signs. For print signage design and production needs, please see Ohio University Printing and Graphic Resources or an outside vendor.
