Special Guest Dan Maxwell
 Daniel Maxwell will begin his second year at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis as the Director of the Campus Center. It is an exciting time at IUPUI as they have been talking about building a new campus center for almost 20 years. Dan is currently working with architects, engineers, contractors and designers. He has spent his first year getting out and meeting with students, faculty and staff to tell the story of the new Campus Center. Dan has previously worked at Western Illinois University, the University of Arizona, and Syracuse University. With an undergraduate degree in Personnel and Industrial Relations from Syracuse University in 1986 and a Masters of Science in Education with an emphasis in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Miami (FL) in 1988, Dan is in his twentieth year working in Higher Education.
Dan has served the Association of College Unions International as an ILEAD Facilitator and Coordinator, the Region 9 Director, President-Elect and two terms as the President. Dan currently serves as the Chair of the ACUI Education and Research Fund Program Team.
Through his work in Higher Education, Dan has a commitment to assisting student leaders in developing their own leadership styles, accepting the role of a leader and the responsibility which goes with the position and promoting diversity education which challenges the heart, the mind and the soul.
