Food service addition construction schedule
The construction schedule for the food service addition is from March 24, 2008. to August 29, 2008. The heavy (noisy) demolition should be completed by Friday April 4, 2008. There should be very little if any jack hammering after Friday.
The next couple of weeks will have backhoes and front end loaders working most days. This should equate to loud engine noise plus dump trucks and concrete trucks being on site during the next two to three weeks.
After this activity of foundation work, the contractor will erect the steel frame by using a crane. At this time Baker University Center does not know how long this activity will take. The contractor is in the process of developing a detail schedule for UPI to review. It is our sincere hope that within two weeks to have a detailed schedule of the construction that we can share with all people affected by this project. On behalf of Baker University Center we are truly sorry for the disturbance.
