Fourier Transform-Infrared Spectrometer
Bruker Vertex 80
Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy is a measurement technique whereby spectra are collected based on measurements of the coherence of a radiative source, using time-domain or space-domain measurements of infrared electromagnetic radiation. The VERTEX 80 FT-IR spectrometer is based on the actively aligned UltraScan™ interferometer and coupled with the Hyperion 3000 microscope, which provides both accurate infrared spectroscopy and optimal sample visualization. This instrument can be used in surface analytics, gas analytics, atmospheric research, life sciences, and other disciplines.
- Coupled with Hyperion microscope
- Allows measurements of solids and liquids with attenuated total reflectance (ATR)
- High optical resolution (<0.07cm-1)
- Mid and near-IR spectral range coverage
