In conjunction with Ohio University’s Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, CEER sponsors a competition of small, shoebox-sized cars. These vehicles are powered by scaled down hydrogen fuel cells. Undergraduates design and construct the electro-chem-e-cars (N.B., participants are provided with an operational fuel cell) in order to compete in regional and national competitions organized by the AIChE.
