School to host chemical water quality training

Natalie Kruse, Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies, and Jen Bowman, Environmental Project Manager, will be teaching a "Chemical Water Quality Training" for new Rural Action AmeriCorps Members and others working with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) on August 21-22 in Athens. The training will be held at the Voinovich School in Building 22, Room 214 on The Ridges and the Waterloo Aquatic Education Center. The training consists of an indoor lecture component and an outdoor field component. The training is funded by ODNR. While the August session is currently full, additional trainings for the public may be held in the fall and in the spring.
