New Gallia tax map website now available

GALLIPOLIS — Thanks to a new tax map website recently launched through a collaboration between the Gallia County Auditor's Office and Gallia County Engineer's Office, the public can now more readily access information regarding land parcels in Gallia County.
The new tax map/GIS (geographic information system) website will allow viewers to access a compilation of aerial photography, road centerlines, flood plain mapping and property parcel mapping in an easy-to-use system that interacts with the auditor's tax data.
The website has been developed through the Institute for Local Government Administration and Rural Development (ILGARD), a portion of Ohio University, which provides public access maps and other GIS resources to several governmental agencies in the region. Click here to read the full article.
