The U.S. EPA's Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program is meant to collect accurate and timely GHG data from large GHG sources in the U.S. to inform future policy decisions. However, the companies affected by this rule can become overwhelmed staying up-to-date on the regular issuances and intricacies of the program.
The CE3 project, "Assisting Ohio Stakeholders with EPA's Mandatory Reporting Requirements," began in 2011 with the goal of facilitating a productive information exchange among Ohio facilities and state agencies affected by the U.S. EPA's GHG Reporting Program. Here are some examples of the work being conducted under this grant:
December 13, 2011 Webinar: "U.S. EPA's Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program Webinar: Navigating the Process and Understanding the Impacts"
On December 13, 2011, CE3 hosted the first in an ongoing series of events related to how the GHG Reporting Program is affecting Ohio companies. More than 75 people from across Ohio attended the complimentary webinar. The impact of the program was examined from several different perspectives by our panel of speakers, including:
March 7, 2012 Webinar: "U.S. EPA's Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program Webinar: Navigating the Process and Understanding the Impacts - Part II"
On March 7, CE3 hosted a second informational webinar for Ohio companies. Again, more than 75 attendees participated. The speakers' presentations can be found below:
