It is the fervent hope of every person who is thinking about a career choice that there will be a moment of revelation when the perfect career will be revealed -- that one day the phone will ring and someone will offer the ideal job at the ideal salary. Unfortunately, for most of us, it does not work that way.
Contrary to popular belief, there is no single career which is right for you. Each of us has abilities which can be applied in a fairly large number of career fields. Most people change careers at least four times during their working life and change jobs even more often! The challenge is to find a job which combines as many of your interests as possible.
You may use the resources through the Office of Career Services to find out which employers will be attending career fairs or recruiting on campus. The mock interview program will help you prepare for those interviews. You can also find information on international employment or use the section on internet links to search job listings. The many resources available on our website are intended to assist you as you begin your job search. Schedule an appointment with a career counselor to discuss your options.
