Career Services' Student Marketing Team The Office of Career Services is now accepting applications for the CareerCATs team! The CareerCATs (or Creative Advertising Techs) are looking for energetic, creative, and fun individuals to become the inaugural members of this exciting new group. | |
Role of the Team - To assist with the marketing and promotion of Career Services events, programs and services. Working Groups of CareerCATs: - The Research and Development team collects data on and assesses the needs and preferences of the current student population. This team will provide recommendations for marketing, programming and services based on the information they collect.
- The Programming team designs and develops programming and outreach activities (based on information provided by the R&D Team) designed to enhance the awareness of Career Services across campus.
- The Creative Design and Technology team designs and creates various marketing and publicity tools (i.e. flyers, posters, websites, Facebook ads, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) that will be utilized in Career Services marketing efforts.
- The External Relations team establishes and maintains a working relationship between the CareerCATs and organizations that recruit at OU. Activities could include, but are not limited to, escorting employers to lunch during on campus recruitment visits or networking with employers at career fairs.

- Interface with employers, administrators and career services staff at an exclusive level
- Possibly receive internship credit
Commitment Required of Team Members: - Attend one meeting per month to provide input and feedback (some e-meetings)
- Volunteer to assist with projects based on your interests and talents as needed
- Represent Career Services in a professional manner at all times
- Look for opportunities to enhance the image of Career Services on campus
- Maintain at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA
