Facility Usage: Classrooms

Classrooms on campus can be reserved in many campus buildings including Alden Library, Bentley, Clippinger, Computer Services Center, Copeland, Ellis, Gordy, Haning, Irvine, Lindley, McCracken, Morton, Research and Technology Center, Stocker, Tower (Peden Stadium), Tupper, and Walter.

To make a reservation for any classroom space, organizations must complete a "Room Use Permit" in person at the Scheduling Office in Chubb Hall 108. Large classroom spaces of particular interest to student organizations include:

Irvine Hall 194 - Reserve by contacting the College of Medicine, 593-2344
Lecture room, holds 280 people
Audio/visual fee for use and setup

Irvine Hall 199 - Reserve by contacting the College of Medicine, 593-2344
Lecture room, holds 125 people

Classrooms, rotunda, conference rooms, and supporting facilities are available for general use under provisions of Ohio University Policy and Procedure 01.025, "Use of University Facilities" [hotlink to http://www.cats.ohiou.edu/policy/01-025.html] and general oversight by the University's Director of Space Management.  The building is designed for a wide array of academic and non-academic uses such as conferences, workshops, retreats, receptions, and celebrations.  Please click here for more information.
