Cooper helped lead the Bobcats to their third post-season appearance in four years.

D.J. Cooper, a senior guard on the men's basketball squad, was named an All-American by online publications CollegeInsider.com and CollegeHoops.net. A 2011 First Team All-Mid-American Conference selection, Cooper was also named a Mid-Major All-American by CollegeInsider.com and an Honorable Mention Mid-Major All-American by CollegeHoops.net. This past season, Cooper helped lead the team to their third post-season appearance in four years. He finished third in the nation in assists, averaging almost eight per game and breaking his own single-season record with a total of 263. A native of Chicago and graduate of Seton Academy, Cooper has a very good chance to become only the fifth player in Bobcat history to reach 2,000 points.
