Give Now to Ohio University

OHIO was a really good fit for me—academically, socially, and athletically.

Amanda Traylor, BSPE ’11, of Los Alamitos, California, is working on her doctorate in exercise physiology at Washington University in St. Louis, but she isn’t giving up swimming yet—not by a long shot. Traylor is the current OHIO record holder in the 200-meter freestyle and the 400-meter individual medley, and was ranked 35th in the country in the 400-meter freestyle in 2011. “OHIO was a really good fit for me—academically, socially, and athletically,” says Traylor, who hopes to work in the field of neurorehabilitation, helping people recover from strokes and car accidents.
