Wildlife & Conservation Biology Major

Course Requirements   
Interested in conservation biology, organismal biology, animal behavior? Feel drawn to questions in ecology, and evolution? Want to study animals, and take field courses where the "lab" is in nature? Then the Wildlife and Conservation Biology major is for you! Graduates of this program meet the qualifications for state and federal civil service registers as ecologists, wildlife biologists, wildlife refuge managers, zoologists, and general biologists. In addition, this program provides excellent preparation for graduate school in:
  • Wildlife Biology
  • Evolution, Ecology & Behavior
  • Conservation Biology
  • Mammalogy, Ornithology, Herpetology & Icthyology
  • Zoology
