Sherrie Gradin, Director She teaches undergraduate courses in rhetoric, composition, and women and literature, and graduate seminars in rhetorical and composition theory, gender theory, and Writing Program Administration. She is administratively responsible for the writing across the curriculum program which includes required writing courses and the Student Writing Center, as well as faculty development regarding the implementation of writing into courses. Don Dudding, Co-Director Debra Nickles, Co-Director Debra Nickles is an instructor for Ohio University in both the English Department and the Women’s and Gender Studies Program, teaching in Athens, Chillicothe, and Lancaster. Currently, she also coordinates Ohio University-Chillicothe’s Writing Center, which serves students at the regional campus. Debra has been teaching various sections of freshmen composition since 2002, focusing on the intersections of rhetoric, gender, film, and theory as they apply to the writing classroom. She comes to the OUAWP in the summer of 2008 energized and ready to further promote the value of writing in the Appalachian region. |
