Simbo Odunaiya holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering earned at Ohio University in 1995. He earned a B.S.E.E. with honors in 1984 and an M.S. in electrical engineering in 1986. Simbo is currently involved in the development of mathematical models of electromagnetic scattering for Instrument Landing System (ILS) performance prediction. His past work includes the development of a mathematical model for predicting the effects of buildings and other structures on the VHF Omni-Range. Before coming to Ohio University, Simbo was a senior engineer responsible for radar development and maintenance at the Federal Civil Aviation Authority in Lagos, Nigeria. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Tau Beta Pi professional society.
