Paul received his Airframe and Powerplant aircraft mechanic licenses in 1999 from Aviation High School in Queens, NY. After moving to Ohio and enrolling in the Russ College of Engineering at Ohio University, Paul worked as a part time aircraft mechanic for the Avionics Engineering Center. In the summer of 2003 he received his B.S. in Computer Science and began working full time for Avionics.
Paul currently fills the roles of IT administrator and aircraft mechanic for the Center. Working both on campus and at the airport, he is responsible for maintaining AEC workstations, servers, and aircraft in addition to providing support for the installation of research equipment.
In February of 2006, Paul received his Inspection Authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration.
