One student says, “My college career would be completely different had I not joined the GLC.” Another remarks, “The GLC has helped in focusing my life’s goals.” A third marvels, “It’s an experience unlike any other.” So what exactly is the GLC besides an acronym for the Global Leadership Center?
According to the Web site—ohio.edu/glc—it’s “more than a classroom, more than a club, more than a support group.” OK, but then what the heck is it? Simply put, the Global Leadership Center is an unparalleled two-year undergraduate certificate program that prepares students to think critically and creatively; communicate clearly and logically; embrace ambiguity and complexity; and understand the world’s challenging commercial, political, religious, and cultural issues. In other words, it’s the experience of a lifetime.
