Printing Resources Center
and Upholstery Shop


Location and Current Use

The Ohio University Printing Resources Center and the Upholstery Shop is located on The Ridges, between coordinates B-8 and C-8 on the campus map. It is marked as # 237 on the map.

The Printing Resources Center does printing and duplicating for the university.

The Upholstery shop houses the Carpentry, Drapery, Keys, Paint, Special Maintenance, and Upholstery Shops.


History of the Building

The building was originally the Laundry Building of the Athens Mental Hospital. It opened in 1956, and was used for doing all of the laundry for the hospital.
