The Ohio University Driving Range is a 300 yard illuminated facility that accommodates up to thirty golfers on the tee. A putting green is also available for practice.
The Ohio University Golf Course is a 9 hole, par 35 course offering a practice putting green and pro-shop.
The Ohio University Tennis Courts are comprised of four indoor courts and six outdoor courts. The indoor courts are covered by a 40' tent structure allowing tennis enthusiasts to compete in state-of-the-art playing conditions.
The Ping Center is one of the largest recreational facilities in the country. Covering 168,000 square feet on three floors, Ping houses a 36 foot, double-sided climbing wall, five basketball/volleyball courts, two multipurpose gymnasiums, an elevated four-lane indoor running track, eight racquetball courts and an enclosed glass fitness area. Ping Center also provides free weights, aerobics, fitness, combative sports, dance, and meeting rooms. The facility is open to university students, faculty/staff, and alumni.
Disc golf borrows the basic concepts of regular golf and combines them with the dynamics of frisbee throwing. The goal is to land a frisbee-like disc into an elevated metallic basket that serves as a catcher. The nine-hole course is open to O.U. students, faculty and staff, alumni, and the community.
