Moving into the Residence Halls

Information for Fall Semester Move In 2013

First-year students should plan to arrive in Athens no later than 7:00PM on Friday, August 23th.  All first-year students living on campus will then attend a Residence Hall Welcome at 7PM in their hall.  Information regarding this welcome event on Friday will be found once the student has moved into their residence hall.

For general questions or directions on campus, OHIO staff will be located on each of the greens (West, East, and South).  Each car arriving will be allowed to park adjacent to the residence hall for thirty minutes to unload.  OHIO staff will be able to direct you to long term parking areas once you have unloaded your vehicle.

Move-in helpers for first year students will be available on Thursday, August 22nd and Friday, August 23rd only.  Individuals with disabilities or who require special assistance must request help in advance of arrival by calling Residential Housing at 740-593-4090.
