Prior Service Students
OHIO University Army ROTC is your opportunity to combine your prior military experience with the college degree you are currently pursuing!
How much money you would make as an officer? (Basic + BAH + BAS)
Did you know?
- The first two years of Army ROTC are not required for students who served on Active Duty or who are currently serving in the National Guard/Army Reserve.
- Additional Scholarships and money from Army ROTC are awarded in addition to your VA Benefits.
- Your service in any of the services counts for pay and retirement purposes as an officer.
- OHIO Army ROTC provides you the same military career opportunities as someone graduating from West Point or OCS.
- You can be in Army ROTC and in the National Guard or Army Reserve.

National Guard & Reserve Students
- OHIO University has 276 majors and a 21:1 student to faculty ratio.
- OHIO Army ROTC cadets have the opportunity to attend advanced Army Training such as Airborne and Air Assault School, Mountain Warfare Training and Northern Warfare Training.
