
Lieutenant Colonel Daniel P. Harbowy - Detachment Commander

Lieutenant Colonel Daniel P. Harbowy is the Commander, Air Force Reserve
Officer Training Corps Detachment 650, and Professor of Aerospace Studies at
Ohio University, Athens, OH. He is responsible for recruiting, educating,
training and preparing students for commissioning into the Air Force as second
lieutenants.
Lt Col Harbowy graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey,
and received his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps in 1994.
He was both an Intelligence Officer and Scientific Analyst. He has deployed to Saudi Arabia,
Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Djibouti. He also possesses a Commercial Pilot
Rotorcraft-Helicopter License.
