OHIO University AFROTC: About Detachment 650

Detachment 650 is a proud establishment with a rich history. Ultimately beginning in 1935 as a program commissioning Army officers; it has grown into a top of the line AFROTC detachment dedicated to molding and guiding quality, respectable and responsible second lieutenants and civilians.

Located in the bottom of Bromley Hall here at Ohio University, our detachment is geared around helping others do their very best. Excellence in all we do is one of the core values in the Air Force and it certainly hits home for us here in the Detachment. We provide a program that will push you to achieve your goals while getting involved in the community, making new friends, learning new skills and turning you into an officer in the best Air Force on the planet.
