Students who begin college with a major and those who explore first before declaring a major often graduate at the same time. So, being undecided or unsure about your major choice doesn’t usually mean that you will spend more time at OU than a student who begins directly in a major. However, you must choose and be accepted into a major by the middle of your sophomore year (or 75 earned hours) since many major programs require students to be enrolled for two years or more in order to graduate on time. Some majors have sequenced courses and require four years to complete.
