We understand that you are preparing to make a serious commitment of your time and financial resources as a transfer student, and we hope you will explore what we offer by visiting Ohio University.
Students who have enrolled at another college or university after high school graduation are considered transfer students.
We offer 30-minute individual appointments Monday through Friday at 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Individual appointments include an overview of admission guidelines and procedures, housing options, and financial aid and scholarships. Please note that individual appointments will not include in-depth information about academic departments, details about how your transfer courses will fulfill major requirements, transfer orientation or scheduling classes.
If you wish to meet with faculty from a particular college or academic department on the day of your individual appointment, you should schedule your appointment in advance directly with them by using our departmental contact list.
Campus tours may be scheduled either before or after your appointment. This hour long tour is conducted by one of our student tour guides. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, and feel free to ask your tour guide questions about life at OHIO!
