Why did you choose OHIO?
I chose OHIO because I wanted to attend a larger school that still had the small-school feel. Many of my professors know me and are willing to take extra time to help answer my questions. They see a student putting in the extra effort and want to help students like that succeed.
What is your favorite place on campus?
I really enjoy Alden Library. There are plenty of places to study and all the resources I need are within one building. The staff in Alden are so helpful and are there to offer support.
What is your favorite place in Athens?
I'm a sucker for the local businesses on Court Street. I like talking to the owners that have lived in town for years and hear stories about their time in Athens.
What is your best piece of advice for a prospective transfer student?
The best way to transition to campus is to get involved with clubs or organizations. I'm involved with Alpha Phi Omega, a National Co-Ed Community Service fraternity. Having a group that shares the same passion I have for helping others made my transition to campus much easier.
