Community College Group Visits

Are you a college or academic advisor who works with 4-year bound community college students?  If so, Ohio University invites you and your students to visit campus as a group.


Located in the rolling hills of Appalachia, Ohio University and the City of Athens provides a traditional university setting where students can immerse themselves in the college experience. The visit will include a tour of the campus, residence and dining halls, library and recreation center. OHIO.  As the first university in the Northwest Territory, OHIO boasts Georgian-style architecture amidst the century old trees of College Green.

 

A typical group visit agenda can look like this:

 

First hour: Campus Tour

Second hour: Information Sessions followed by Q & A with Admission Advisors and real life transfer students

Third hour: Lunch

Fourth hour: Meet with Academic Advisors

Fifth hour: Possible class visit and wrap up

 

Up to ten students can be accommodated for these visits anytime Monday through Friday.  In addition, students are always welcome to visit campus on their own. Personal visits can be arranged by a visit online.
