Ohio University offers a number of Multicultural Scholarships for students including the Templeton Scholars Program and the King/Chavez/Parks Awards for incoming freshmen and the Blackburn-Spencer Scholarship for multicultural upperclassmen. Academically talented multicultural students may be considered for the Templeton Scholars award, which is equal to the cost of in-state tuition and fees, room, board, and a book allowance. Students may also be considered for the King/Chavez/Parks award that varies up to $10,000. Both awards are renewable up to a total of 12 quarters, and both awards provide opportunities for academic enrichment experiences.
The Urban Scholars Program is a scholarship initiative that actively seeks high school students from urban areas in Ohio and across the country to come to Ohio University. Students from disproportionately represented groups are eligible for the program, which provides scholarship support to those who demonstrate excellent academic achievement and financial need.
