On-campus Recruitment

• We have the opportunity to network with alumni who help out with our on-campus recruitment programs
• We serve as the host for prospective multicultural students participating in our on-campus visitation programs such as:

         Multicultural Visitation Program (MVP)

• High school seniors interested in learning more about Ohio University are invited to an overnight visitation program
• Learn about academic and student programs, as well as financial aid, admissions process, and multicultural programs
• Program is free to participants with transportation, lodging, and meals provided

         Multicultural Student Prospective (MSP)

• Open to all interested high school students and their families
• One-day event designed to introduce multicultural students to Ohio University
• Held in conjunction with the Admissions Office’s Preview day
• Transportation provided from Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Cleveland

         Cultural Connections

• Designed specifically for multicultural students who have been admitted to Ohio University
• Two and a half day program for students and their families
• All guest accommodations and meals are included in the program
• Program includes awards banquet, academic information sessions, recreational activities, variety show, campus tours, and panel discussions

Telecounseling

• We conduct telecounseling campaigns-calling prospective students who have expressed an interest in Ohio University and answer any questions they may have

Off-campus recruitment

• We visit our hometown high schools during winter break to share our Ohio University experience with prospective students
• We serve as panelists at area receptions for prospective and admitted students throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania
