Career Services
Commencement will arrive sooner than you think, so it’s a good idea to begin planning for your career early in your college experience. The Office of Career Services is available to help you choose a major or a career field; develop an effective resume and interviewing skills; and discover job opportunities through career fairs, on-campus interviews, and job listings.

International Student and Faculty Services
The primary function of this office is to assist international students while studying at Ohio University. The office offers counseling and advice to help smooth your transition to a new academic system and way of life. Staffed by professionals who have substantial experience abroad, the office also cooperates with the Athens Friends of International Students, a community-based volunteer program that arranges host family visits.

Wellness Resources
Going away to college involves making lots of changes, from eating and sleeping habits to the way you view the world and others-changes that can affect your physical and mental health. The Hudson Health Center can help you stay healthy as you adjust to these life changes. Services offered include:

• Student Health Services
  Physician visits, minor surgery, allergy injections, immunizations, physical therapy, laboratory, X-ray, and pharmacy access for both prescription and non-prescription medications are available from this office.
• Counseling and Psychological Services
  A staff of psychologists and counselors provide confidential consultations to undergraduate and graduate students. Services include educational counseling, career counseling, and personal adjustment counseling.
• Health Education and Wellness
  Staff members develop and promote comprehensive and proactive health and wellness education programs to help students maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
