To be a candidate for Senator, an eligible administrator must complete and submit the application authorized by the Elections Committee and must declare which district or at-large position he/she is seeking. An "administrator" is defined as an employee of Ohio University holding a Presidential appointment who spends more than 50% of his/her time in administrative duties. This shall exclude the President, Vice Presidents, Provost, Associate Provosts, the Secretary and Treasurer of the Board of Trustees, Deans, and those faculty whose responsibilities are defined as more than 50% administrative, but who have retained faculty rank but not faculty status.
Nominations are now open soon and will close Wednesday, April 23, 2014. If you would like to nominate yourself or a colleague, please complete the nomination form by the deadline. This year's election will be conducted online and will begin on Tuesday, May 6th, 2014 and end on Tuesday, May 13th, 2014.
