Reserved floor seating for the concert featuring Sugar Ray and Orgy has been switched to general admission, standing only. People who have purchased reserved floor seating can exchange their tickets for reserved seats in the lower or upper balconies. "The artists on the bill have asked us to make this change to allow fans to stand on the floor during the show rather than sit in a seat," said Gretchen Stephens, director of Public Occasions. "Each of the MTV tour dates thus far has used this approach, and it's been very popular." Patrons who have floor tickets but would prefer seats can exchange their tickets at the Memorial Auditorium box office between noon and 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, and Thursday, May 6, or at the Convocation Center box office beginning at 6 p.m. the evening of the performance. No cameras, video cameras, backpacks, recording devices or watch chains will be permitted in the arena. All other seating in the Convocation Center remains reserved, and the concert is sold out. No additional floor tickets will become available with this change.
