Ohio University's Center for International Studies will present "Friendly Persuasion: The Role of International Organizations in the Global Institutionalization of Democratic Processes."
The colloquium, to be held Thursday, Feb. 24 from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Galbreath Memorial Chapel, will discuss the role of international actors and organizations in the transition from various types of dictatorship to formal democracy taking place around the globe.
