Career Week Lecture Focuses on Ethics, Resume-Writing

'What You Need to Know About Ethics Before Your First Job,' a multimedia seminar sponsored by the Ohio University Institute for Applied and Professional Ethics and the Office of Career Services, will be held Friday, October 15 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Copeland Hall 112/114.

In 'What You Need to Know...', Mary Tucker of Ohio University's College of Business teaches first-time job seekers how ethics statements can give them an edge in the job market, why companies prefer applicants with ethics statements, and what they are looking for in a statement. Michael Bugeja, special assistant to the president of Ohio University, then presents a multi-media presentation on composing and presenting statements clearly and effectively. The seminar concludes with a question-and-answer session.

'What You Need to Know...' is part of Ohio University's Career Week 1999.
