The Caribbean Scholars Association (CSA) presents CARIBBEAN WEEK MAY 17 - 22, 1999

Planned Events Include:

Monday 17th: Domino match -- 9 p.m. to Midnight, Room 304, Baker Center.

Tuesday 18th: Pan African Debate -- 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friends of the Library Room (3rd floor of Alden Library)

Wednesday: Story Telling Night -- 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friends of the Library Room.

Thursday:

• Reception for Filmmaker Andrew Millington -- 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Lindley Cultural Center
• Film Screening Guttapac by Andrew Millington -- 8:30 p.m., Lindley Hall Room 321
  The film is about ten year old Eric who spends a holiday with his grandparents in the countryside. The government has just revealed plans to build a tourist resort on the Caribbean island. Eric soon realizes that the venture threatens to displace the village and that the beneficiary of the project is his grandfather.

Friday: Jam Session -- 9 p.m. to 1 p.m., Ryors Recreational Center, Ryors Hall.

Saturday: Cricket Match -- 3 p.m., Mill Street Playing Field
