The 1999 Women of Appalachia Conference, held by Ohio University-Zanesville Oct. 27-29, has been awarded for Program Excellence by the Ohio Continuing Higher Education Association (OCHEA). This national interdisciplinary conference focuses on arts, literature and family.
Kathi Albertson, Director of Continuing Education, and Valerie Betts-Morrison, Non-Credit Coordinator, will attend the Association's March meeting at Cherry Valley to receive the award.
The next Women of Appalachia Conference will take place October 26-28, 2000.
