Bobcat Women Picked to Take MAC Cross Country Title Last year, the Ohio women's cross country team finished second in the Mid-American Conference Championships. This year, MAC coaches have picked the Bobcat women to take the league title. Ohio received 134 points -- and seven of the 11 first-place votes -- in a preseason poll. The Bobcat men's team was picked to finish seventh this year with 71 points. The Ohio squads open the season in Athens with the Ohio Relays on September 4. The men's race begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by the women's race at 10:15 a.m. For more information, please read the full text of this news release.
