Ohio Football Will be Nationally

Ohio
Football
will be televised twice in 1999 as part of
the Mid-American Conference television
package announced August 18. Highlighting
the announcement was the national telecast
of the Ohio at Marshall game on November
26 at 11:30 a.m. on FOX Sports Net. The
contest marks the first time since 1987
that a MAC regular season football game
will be aired nationally.
Ohio's
home contest against Miami on Nov. 13 at
noon is also featured in the package. The
complete schedule includes the following
games:
- Oct.
16 - Bowling Green at Akron, noon
- Oct.
30 - Central Michigan at Bowling Green,
noon
- Nov.
6 - Toledo at Central Michigan, noon
- Nov.
13 - Miami at Ohio, noon
- Nov.
26 - Ohio at Marshall, 11:30 a.m. (FOX
Sports Net national
broadcast)
Ohio
opens at Minnesota on September 4 at 12:10
p.m. (ET) on the Midwest Sports Channel.
The schedule features three night games
under the lights in Peden Stadium. The
home opener against Northern Iowa on Sept.
11 will be televised on the
Ohio
Sports
Network.
The Sept. 18 contest at Ohio State will be
broadcast regionally on ABC.
