Early Signs of Violence Often Overlooked

Counseling Available for Adult Learners

Today's Events:

  • If you're planning to graduate at the end of summer, now is the time to complete and pay for the graduation application. Visit the Registrar's Window 5 on the first floor of Chubb Hall. The final deadline is July 22.

  • "You Can't Take It With You" performed by the Ohio Valley Summer Theater group. Through Saturday at 8 p.m. in the Forum Theater - RTVC. Also, there will be 7 p.m. performance on Sunday. Call 740-593-4800 for ticket information.

Ohio University Closed Monday, July 5

All Ohio University offices will be closed and all classes will be canceled on Monday, July 5 in observance of the national Independence Day holiday. This includes all regional campuses as well as the College of Osteopathic Medicine and all branches of the University Osteopathic Medical Center. All five sites -- UOMC-Parks Hall in Athens, UOMC-O'Bleness in Athens, UOMC-Coolville, UOMC-Nelsonville Square, and UOMC-Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville -- will be closed.

The university will reopen Tuesday, July 6, operating under normally scheduled hours. If you would like information about the University Osteopathic Medical Center or wish to make an appointment, please call 740-593-1700.
