to Hold Annual Awards Ceremony June
10

Ohio
University College of Osteopathic
Medicine
(OU-COM) will hold its annual Academic
Awards Ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Thursday,
June 10, in Nelson Commons on Ohio
University's South Green.
Barbara
Ross-Lee, D.O., dean of the college, will
serve as master of ceremonies. Academic
awards will be presented to individual
members of the graduating class.
Presenters
include E. Lee Foster, D.O., president of
the Ohio Osteopathic Association; and
David Stroh, D.O., chairman of the
Department of Family Medicine and
associate professor of family medicine. A
reception will follow the awards
ceremony.
OU-COM's
graduation ceremony will take place at 10
a.m. Friday, June 11, in the Convocation
Center. The OU-COM Class of 1999 is the
20th class to graduate from the college,
which was created by the Ohio Legislature
in 1975. It is the only institution in the
state accredited to educate osteopathic
physicians.
