Gordy
Language Lab to be Named in Honor of Phil
Richardson
The
department of Modern
Languages
will host a retirement reception honoring
Charles "Phil" Richardson. The reception
will be held on this afternoon from 3 to 5
p.m. in Gordy Hall on the first floor back
lobby and terrace. A ceremony will be
conducted to name the Gordy Hall Language
Resource Center in honor of Phil.
During
his time at Ohio University, Phil has
provided outstanding service to the
university as well as the community. He
has been an excellent teacher and
contributed greatly to the use and design
of the language lab and the application of
technology in the foreign language
classroom. He has been serving Ohio
University for over 35 years.
